At the time, Saloon specifically requested that we did not include their track Futurismo from AAS023: Lazer Guided/Saloon - Forget to Fade Out/Futurismo 7" on this CD.

In 2002 they had just scored the prestigious #1 slot in John Peel's Festive 50, after many of their fans seized upon the opportunity to vote via email for the first time....ahem

The message we got was that they "felt it would be considered cashing in if we re-released it now and that they intended to do their own singles compilation at some point and would rather reserve this obscure track for that".

Quite how we could "cash-in" on a CD we were giving away for free wasn't really clear, but obviously we took it very well and held a minute's silence to honour the loss
