The Bigger The God were already a fairly up and coming new wave of Britpop band from Oxford. As you can see in the credits - their contact address was a management company. I also have a vague memory that the same management company insisted on them having the first track, and also sending some kind of paperwork to sign. It felt like a bit of a coup for us - helped by the fact that Andy from the band was lovely and painfully embarrassed about the management company being so uncool about stuff!
